We are traveling to Hammond, Indiana for the 27th Annual Outdoor Sports Show. The show takes place inside the Jean Shepherd Center and features more than 100 outdoors retailers, resorts, charters and guides, boat dealers, and sports clubs. There is also a chainsaw wood carving demonstration and free seminars going on during the day.
Next, we’ll head to Cabela’s where we’ll soon discover this is much more than just a retail store. The 185,000 square-foot retail showroom is an educational and entertainment attraction. It features a décor of museum-quality animal displays, huge aquariums and trophy animals interacting in realistic re-creations of their national habitats.
Our
last stop is the Bass Pro Shop in Portage, Indiana.
You’ll soon find this Bass Pro Shop isn’t just for fishing.
It is an outdoor retail leader in hunting, camping, nature gifts, outdoor
cooking, and much more. Each Bass Pro store is unique and offers a truly
unforgettable shopping experience. They put you as close to the Great Outdoors

Company Restaurant,where we’ll find a 13,000 gallon salt water fish tank.
