The American Eagle has long been a friend of the Alton, Illinois region.  More than 1000 eagles migrate there each year, returning to their
winter home along the bluffs of the Great River Road. Our group last year spotted 94 eagles on the tour.

We will be joined on our second day by an experienced step-on-guide for a full day of eagle watching.  Lunch will be included at the
Pere Marquette Lodge.

Upon arrival in St. Louis, a stop will be made at Union Station for lunch and a little shopping . A visit to the Cathedral Basilica
is planned. The ornate beauty of this church can not be described, you have to see it to believe it!
Following the tour, you will have free time to visit the Gateway Arch. There you can take a ride to the top, watch a film of the Arch being
built and visit the museum. Or you could
spend your free time on "The President" gambling boat docked along the Mississippi.
Overnight will be at the Alton Holiday Inn. A family style dinner is included tonight. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the Argosy Casino in Alton.

Includes: Full day of guided eagle sightseeing, overnight accommodations, (3) meals, admission to the Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis, visit to Union Station in St. Louis, free time for a visit to the "Arch" or gambling time on the Mississippi, motorcoach transportation and services of an Imperial Escort
Depart Lafayette at 7:00 a.m., Lebanon at 7:30 a.m. and Indianapolis at 8:00 a.m.
