The charming Whetstone Woodenware workshop where you will see the finest in handcrafted wooden utensils and accessories being made.
Located in the quaint town of Silver Lake, this small artisan shop contains maple woodenware that will add a unique touch to your kitchen décor.
Visitors will collect a wooden spoon for their treasure.

Just up the road, your group will pay a visit to Maple Lane Bakery and Furniture which is run by a Mennonite family. Here you will find that
everything is still made from scratch, including woodworking craftsmanship. Each person in the group will leave the bakery with a loaf of homemade bread.

Did you know the Kosciusko County is the orthopedic capital of the world?  Biomet, Inc. is one of the six leading manufacturers of orthopedic implements
 headquartered in this county. 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist Mary Lou Retton had a hip replacement with the help of Biomet’s hip replacement system.
Our group will tour Biomet and learn how orthopedic implements are created from raw material and packaged to hospitals.

 

Beauty and quality craftsmanship define the works of art at Crystal Lake Cut Glass. As one of only 26 glass artisans still left in the U.S., your group will
watch an artisan etch into crystal and glass free hand with a stone cutting wheel.  You will leave with a small cut glass votive candle holder.

Enjoy a guided tour of the Warsaw Biblical Gardens as we walk through biblical times among the plants, flowers, trees, and herbs.
This garden of biblical plants was started in 1986 and has since grown to be the third largest of its kind in the United States, offering more species
of plants than any other with the exception of the Holy Lands.

Lawrence Bell Museum   Mr. Bell devoted forty-four years to the aircraft industry. From a barefoot boy in Mentone, Indiana, the town of his birth,
he became chairman of the board of one of the nation's foremost aircraft firms, Bell Aircraft . The firm produced such significant aviation contributions
as the nation's first jet propelled airplane, the world's first commercial helicopter, the world's fastest and highest flying airplane, the Bell X-1A,
and the first jet vertical take-off and landing plane.
