Get ready to take a
journey to a bygone era at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in
northwest Indiana.
Situated near the former junction of the Erie, PRR, C&O, and NYC in historic
North Judson, Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum offers a unique opportunity to
experience the sights, sounds and smells of post-World War II railroading.
Then we’ll climb
aboard their vintage diesel locomotive train and travel through the rural
farm country to English Lake.
Flowers, butterflies, wildlife and a variety of Indiana crops are usually
visible from the train.
On our way to North
Judson, we’ll make a stop to visit the Monon Connection Museum
and have lunch (on your own) at the Whistle Stop
Restaurant.
Departure: Lafayette at 9:30am.
