During the summer there are more than 40,000 flowers planted along the streets, in hanging baskets,  sidewalk beds and window boxes.   
A local guide will join us for a fascinating tour of Greendale’s residential area. 
Learn the unique history of the “backward house” and tour one of these original homes. 
Next is a stop at
the Reiman Visitor Center to view a video on the beginning of Reiman Publications (publisher of Taste of Home),
watch a recipe demonstration given by one of their home Economist, tour the test kitchen, and visit the
Taste of Home
Outlet Store for incredible bargains.

Visit the World-Renowned Boerner Botanical Gardens for a docent guided tour of the gardens  and arboretum.
The setting is reminiscent of an English County manor with glacial  fieldstone walls    and historic,  handcrafted limestone statuary.               
                     

 

The next day we begin with a stop at the famous Mar's Cheese Castle  and then it is on to  the Center located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
