The Garfield Park Conservatory and Sunken Gardens is a hidden treasure located on the south side of Indianapolis.  Join Imperial as we experience this gem and explore the 136 acre park. 
The Conservatory features 10,000 square feet of plants from tropics around the world. The Sunken Gardens is a graceful historic walk featuring fountains, paved walkways, and benches throughout the landscape. 
The gardens are planted with three seasonal displays each year.  

A stop will be made at Circle Center Mall for you to enjoy lunch, on your own, and maybe do a little shopping. 

       





 


In the afternoon we will tour the Scottish Rite Cathedral, a magnificent example of Neo-Gothic Architecture, constructed from 1927-29, and listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. 
It has a 54 Bell Carillon and rises 212 feet above the Indianapolis landscape.  Over 100,000 visitor’s a year make this one of Indiana’s top tourist attractions. 

 

Our final stop will be at the
We will have a narrated tour of the Gallery and be given some time to shop the quaint little shops of Zionsville.
