We start our adventure with a stop at HARTSTONE POTTERY located just outside of Zanesville, Ohio. Learn the history of pottery
and take a production tour of their facilities. Enjoy the skill of the talented craftsmen and artisans as they produce hand-painted stoneware. This evening we
take a ride on THE VALLEY GEM, an authentic sternwheeler  for a scenic cruise into the Muskingum Valley.  Enjoy dinner and the beautiful views!

The next day we travel to the NATIONAL RADIO ASTRONOMY OBSERVATORY  in Green Bank, West Virginia.  Scientists from all over the world come here to study planets, comets, quasars and galaxies. See the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope,  the world’s largest fully steerable radio telescope,
as we take a fascinating tour of this facility.
Next, we take a ride on the CASS SCENIC RAILROAD.  We are transported back in time to relive the era of steam-driven locomotives.
Enjoy the breathtaking views of the vast wilderness.
Our third day we’ll ride & experience the sights & sounds of one of the rarest steam locomotives in existence.  THE DURBIN ROCKET TRAIN is powered by a rare steam locomotive, Old #3, one of only three operating Climax geared logging locomotives on earth.  Ride in an authentic 1920-era coach and vintage wooden caboose behind #3 as she puffs and whistles her way along the free-flowing Greenbrier River in Northern Pocahontas County.  Enjoy a box lunch and the beautiful river and mountain views of the Monongahela National Forest.  We then travel by motorcoach to Cheat Bridge where we board our next train, THE CHEAT MOUNTAIN SALAMANDER. Travel the unspoiled mountain scenery passing through an 1,800-foot long tunnel built on an “S” curve and make a stop at the inspirational HIGH FALLS of the CHEAT.
Dinner tonight is included at the Railroad Restaurant Buffet.  Afterwards, we head to the AMERICAN MOUNTAIN THEATER for some
Branson Quality Entertainment.  The cast of professional performers will keep your toes tapping, hands clapping and laughter ringing throughout the show.

Join us for an unforgettable adventure in beautiful West Virginia!
