is a charming picturesque town located along the Fox River about an hour west of
Chicago.
Its claim to fame is the “Scarecrow Festival” held each year on the first
weekend in October.
You will disembark the motorcoach at the main entrance to the festival and have
the day to explore the many attractions.
The highlight of the festival is the Scarecrow Exhibit featuring hundreds of
handcrafted scarecrows. Be sure to attend the autumn on the
Fox Arts and Craft show. The fair is adjacent to the downtown area where you
will find unique shops and restaurants. You may
want to take a scenic cruise aboard a paddleboat on the Fox River. Of course,
no fair is complete without food and they have plenty
of it to satisfy your taste buds.
