Down in Southeastern Indiana, there is a little canal town named Metamora. Named after a fictional Indian Princess, this is the quintessential, picturesque town, especially during the holidays. “Christmas on the Canal ”will charm you with luminaries, carolers, storytellers, and Christmas decorations everywhere! Not to mention nearly 100 shops and merchants. Arrive in grand old fashioned style aboard the Whitewater Valley Railroad. The vintage train follows the towpath of the Whitewater Canal, winding through one of most scenic areas of our state. Enjoy your time aboard the locomotive and along Metamora’s “main street,” the Whitewater Canal.
